Usui Reiki
What is Reiki?
Reiki is a gentle, Japanese energy healing practice that supports relaxation, balance, and overall well-being. The word Reiki comes from two Japanese words: rei, often translated as "universal" or "spiritually guided," and ki, meaning "life force energy"—the vital energy believed to flow through all living things.
Across many cultures and healing traditions, there has long been an understanding that our well-being involves more than just the physical body. Reiki offers a quiet, nurturing way to support the mind, body, and spirit while creating space for rest, reflection, and renewal.
Many people seek Reiki during times of stress, transition, grief, or overwhelm. Others simply appreciate the opportunity to slow down, reconnect with themselves, and cultivate a greater sense of inner peace.
While All is Well does not offer sessions exclusively devoted to Usui Reiki, Reiki energy is incorporated into all healing sessions Laura provides.

How can Reiki support you?
Each person's experience with Reiki is unique. While no two sessions are exactly alike, many people report feeling:
-
Deeply relaxed and more at ease
-
Calmer and better able to navigate stress
-
More grounded and centered
-
Emotionally supported during challenging times
-
More connected to themselves and their inner wisdom
-
A greater sense of balance and well-being
-
Renewed, refreshed, or re-energized
-
Better able to rest and recharge
Often, the greatest gift of Reiki is simply the opportunity to pause—to step away from the demands of daily life and allow yourself to receive care and support.
Reiki And Traditional Healthcare
Reiki is considered a complementary practice and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. Rather than replacing traditional medical care, many people choose to incorporate Reiki alongside the care they receive from their healthcare providers as part of a holistic approach to well-being.
People may seek Reiki while navigating health concerns, life transitions, caregiving responsibilities, emotional stress, or periods of personal growth. Others simply enjoy the sense of peace, comfort, and relaxation that Reiki can provide.
Laura believes that caring for ourselves involves tending not only to the body, but also to the emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects of who we are. Reiki offers a gentle invitation to slow down, listen inward, and support yourself with compassion—exactly where you are.
