Kundalini vs. Usui Reiki

Many people are familiar with an ancient form of Reiki known as Usui Reiki. Kundalini Reiki is a more modern form of Reiki, discovered in the late 1990s. Here's how Usui and Kundalini Reiki compare:

The energy

  • Both work with Universal Life Force Energy 

  • Usui Reiki energy is the divine masculine form of the energy coming from above into the crown of the practitioner

  • Kundalini Reiki is the divine feminine form of the energy coming from Mother Earth up through the root chakra of the practitioner.

  • Kundalini is a more intense energy and works more rapidly. It is also more grounding.

 

The technique

  • Both can be conducted in-person or remotely.

  • Usui Reiki consists of a series of hand positions working on each chakra.

  • Kundalini Reiki is a series of processes that focuses on healing all aspects of the self. All processes are conducted at the head or foot of the table.

Kundalini Reiki Session Description

During your Kundalini Reiki session, you and Laura will be connected via Zoom. Your session will begin with a brief conversation. Next, you'll be invited to sit back or lie down and close your eyes for the healing portion of the session.

During the healing portion of the session, the following processes will be performed. As the session unfolds, Laura will let you know which process is taking place.

​

  • Diamond Reiki - Illuminates the main energy channel through the center of your body, including all of your chakras to begin the healing process.

  • Crystalline Reiki - When we don't fully process a trauma, crystalline structures can form in our body and aura. These crystals will be dissolved to release the energetic effects of the trauma.

  • DNA Reiki - Provides healing on a spiritual DNA level. This aligns and strengthens the strands of our spiritual DNA, also known as our "blueprint".

  • Birth Trauma Reiki - Sends soothing energy to your body and soul to heal any traumas that may have occurred during the birth process.

  • Location Reiki - Provides healing around connections to locations where you may have a painful emotional attachment.

  • Past-Life Reiki - Brings healing to one or many of your past lives, assisting you in releasing karmic patterns.

  • Healing Karmic Bands - Heals any aspects of a relationship and releases all negativity around it.

  • Healing of Situations, Issues, or Qualities - This healing can assist you with any situation, issue, or personal quality that may be troubling you.

  • Balance Reiki - The session concludes with a balancing of all of your energy systems

When the session completes, there will be a post-session conversation where Laura will go over with you what came up during the session.
